A Day in the Life of a Concrete Foreman

As a Concrete Foreman, you're the expert guiding your crew through the day's concrete tasks. You'll:

• Oversee concrete work including form setting, rebar tying, finishing, footings, retaining walls, and flatwork
• Operate equipment and keep maintenance logs up to date
• Uphold safety standards, ensuring all team members wear proper PPE
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs to keep jobs on track
• Mentor and train new crew members and foster a supportive team atmosphere
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Concrete Supervisor
• Monitor site progress, quality, and cleanliness-because customer satisfaction matters
• Determine daily work schedules and communicate changes to clients and crews

What You Bring to the Table

• Prior supervisory experience in a construction environment
• Strong background in concrete forms, rebar, layout, setting and finishing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement and clean driving record is required
• General construction knowledge
• At least 5+ years of hands-on concrete labor experience
