Full Description

Job purpose

  • To deliver pick up products to/from customer/vendors/internal needs
  • To represent our company in a professional manner
  • To provide customer satisfaction with deliveries

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

Not limited to:

 

  • Deliver various metal items to different addresses and through different routes within the State of Florida.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, tarp, and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Collect payments on COD orders
  • Inform customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures
  • Complies with all safety requirements for: reaching, climbing, crouching, pulling, kneeling, lifting, among others to perform as required.
  • Complies with all established company polices.
  • Inform of Truck Malfunctions or Dammaged Parts.

    Qualifications

     

    Qualifications include:

    • Class A or B CDL
    • Experience driving stick shift straight trucks and/or semi-trucks
    • Ability to deliver items in a timely and safe manner
    • Ability to read a map and to use a GPS
    • Excellent communication skills

     

    Working conditions

     

    May need to start before or stay after normal working hours to complete work.

    Need to be able to work in warm temperatures in the warehouse.
