Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Driver to manage nightly transfer routes between our Orlando, Lakeland, and Tampa facilities. The driver will depart Orlando each evening, deliver to Lakeland and Tampa (with unloading at each stop), and return to Orlando upon completion. This is a consistent evening schedule, M-F, that offers steady hours and competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Complete nightly transfer route: Orlando ? Lakeland (unload) ? Tampa (unload) ? return to Orlando
- Unload at each stop: Estimated at 30 minutes
- Operate an automatic transmission day cab truck with a 53' trailer and liftgate
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delays or discrepancies
- Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and all safety requirements
Schedule & Hours:
- Start Time: TBD nightly (Monday-Friday)
- Estimated Hours per Night: ~6 hours (includes unloading time)
- Estimated Weekly Hours: ~30 hours/week
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $25-$32/hour
Requirements
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years CDL A experience plus 7 years total driving experience.
- Clean driving record; familiarity with Florida local/regional routes preferred.
