Pay: $24-$26/hr based on experience

The Vacuum Truck Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include (but are not limited to): hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/ material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cargo & Operations: Oversee, load, and secure cargo safely; maneuver trucks into position and maintain a clean work area during loading/unloading.
- Inspections & Safety: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safety, roadworthiness, and immediate reporting of defects or damage.
- Compliance & Hours: Comply with state/federal transport regulations, including hours of service, dangerous goods, weights/dimensions, and health & safety standards.
- Documentation & Logs: Complete and maintain accurate driver logbooks, manifests, bills of lading, and service records electronically or manually.
- Customer & Team Communication: Deliver products promptly with proper paperwork, communicate professionally with clients and team members, and report operational issues to supervisors.
- Additional Duties: Assist with peer training and perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
• Certification from recognized Truck Driving School.
• Valid CDL B
• Tanker Endorsement Highly Preferred
• Ability to drive manual, no restrictions
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
• High level of personal integrity.
• Strong work ethic.
• Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs required.
• Overtime as required.
