Position Overview:
Join Jetco as a Class B CDL Driver operating cutting-edge, environmentally friendly box trucks. You'll deliver white-glove service for one of the world's largest companies, setting a new standard in logistics excellence. This role offers outstanding pay, reflecting the high demands and specialized skills required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class B CDL box trucks with precision and care.
- Utilize tracking and tracing technology, including barcode scanning of boxes.
- Conduct thorough Pre and Post trips using cutting-edge applications to ensure equipment is in optimal condition and to promptly report any issues.
- Maintain a cool head under pressure, navigating challenging situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Enjoy a unique schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the next, providing ample time off-approximately half the year-to pursue additional work opportunities within Jetco.
- Receive high-profile security training at the start and throughout your tenure, emphasizing safety and security as top priorities.
- Engage in daily communication with multiple stakeholders, including warehouse, security, and customer staff. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 23.
- 1.5 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Proficient in English; clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; hazmat endorsement preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Primarily seated position with daily lifting, bending, and climbing as necessary.
- Lifting boxes onto dollies is essential on a day-to-day basis, emphasizing the importance of health and safety.
