We are currently hiring CDL-A drivers for a local Yard Jockey position in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady local work, home daily time, and consistent hourly pay with overtime available.

Home Daily | Paid Hourly + Overtime | Consistent Schedule
We are currently hiring CDL-A drivers for a local Yard Jockey position in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady local work, home daily time, and consistent hourly pay with overtime available.
Pay & Bonuses
- $27 per hour - all shifts
- Overtime after 40 hours paid at $41 per hour
- Average weekly pay: $1,080 - $1,485
- Average annual pay: $56,000 - $77,000
- $500 New Hire Transition Bonus paid on second paycheck
- $3,000 Sign-On Bonus:
- $1,000 on second paycheck
- $1,000 at 60 days
- $1,000 at 120 days
- Monday - Friday
- Must be available to work every other weekend
- Starting around 40 hours weekly, with potential to move into 50+ hours
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM (starting 5/18)
- Local yard moves only - no over-the-road driving
- Moving CAT generators and engines between facilities
- Average of 8 engine moves per day
- Approximately 250 yards between locations
- Drivers may transport up to 2 engines at a time
- Load securement with straps
- Yard Hostler, Kenworth Day Cab, Conestoga/Flatbed equipment
- Home daily
- Local work only
- Stable Monday-Friday schedule
- Overtime opportunities
- On-site parking
- Securement training provided upon hire
- Valid CDL-A license
- Prior yard jockey experience within the past year OR 6 months of recent CDL-A driving experience
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Must pass yard driving test
