We are currently hiring CDL-A drivers for a local shuttle position in Ridgeville, SC (Greater Charleston area). This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady hourly pay, home daily, and consistent weekday work.Position Highlights
We are currently hiring CDL-A drivers for a local shuttle position in Ridgeville, SC (Greater Charleston area). This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady hourly pay, home daily, and consistent weekday work.Position Highlights
- Home Daily - local routes only
- Monday-Friday schedule (weekends optional for extra pay)
- Short, consistent runs (~3 miles between warehouse and plant)
- 60 miles per day average
- 100% no-touch freight (drop & hook) - automotive parts
- Hours: 5:40 AM - 2:40 PM (Mon-Fri)
- Opportunity for weekend work and extra hours
- Occasional extended shifts up to ~4:40 PM
- Day cab trucks (manual transmission)
- 53' dry van trailers
- Slip seat operation
- On-site parking available
- Shuttle loaded trailers from plant → warehouse and return empties
- Minimum 1 year recent CDL-A experience
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- No auto restriction
- TWIC preferred
- Hazmat preferred (not required)
- Must live within 50 miles of Ridgeville, SC
