REGIONAL DRIVER

SUMMARY: The Driver Long Haul role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting product and materials to ensure daily operational business needs are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform all pre and post trip checks as per protocol.Operate the provided equipment within the guidelines of the George's Fleet Safety policy.Operate ELD properly and legally.Obey all local, State, Federal and DOT regulations.Maintain a safe work environment.Maintain satisfactory attendance and job performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.Obey all animal welfare rules and regulation laws.Return signed proof of delivery paperwork in a timely manner.All other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will not have supervisory responsibility. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE RequiredCurrent Class A CDL Driver's licenseo Must be able to pass DOT physicalo Must be 18 years or oldero Must be eligible to work in the United Stateso 1 year of experience with completed driver's school training OR 2 years of experience without driver's school training · Preferredo Poultry or meat processing experience
