Location: Woodhaven, Michigan
Pay: $27 per hourHours: Zero to 30 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed
Schedule: Part-time | On-call | Based on availability and freight demand

Good Tree Supply, an Amazon Freight Partner, is hiring part-time CDL-A Flex Drivers to support additional freight, driver absences, overflow, and short-notice coverage.
This role is designed for qualified drivers who want supplemental income and can provide dependable availability without committing to a full-time rotation.
Flex assignments may include local or regional routes and may be offered in advance or on short notice. The amount of available work will vary based on freight demand and operational needs.

Compensation and Hours
- $27 for every hour worked
- Maximum of 30 hours per workweek
- Up to $810 gross pay in a 30-hour week
- No minimum number of hours is guaranteed
- Overtime will be paid if legally required for company-authorized work over 40 hours
- This part-time position is not eligible for company benefits
How Flex Coverage Works
- Provide availability to Good Tree Supply
- Receive assignment opportunities based on freight demand and coverage needs
- Complete accepted local or regional assignments
- Support planned absences, overflow, incremental loads, and unexpected coverage needs
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding availability and assignments

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes
- Arrive ready and on time for accepted assignments
- Follow DOT, FMCSA, Amazon, and company safety requirements
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and duty-status records
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Report equipment defects, delays, and safety concerns promptly
- Use Amazon Relay, ELD, GPS, and company communication systems
- Respond promptly to scheduling and dispatch communications
- Maintain safe, reliable, and professional performance

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Experienced CDL-A drivers and qualified recent graduates are welcome
- Recent graduates must provide a strong recommendation from their CDL school
- Current DOT medical certification or ability to obtain it
- Must meet Good Tree Supply, Amazon, DOT, and applicable insurance driving-record requirements
- Must be eligible to perform DOT safety-sensitive duties and have a "not prohibited" FMCSA Clearinghouse status
- Able to pass required pre-employment drug testing, background screening, and qualification review
- Meet FMCSA English-language proficiency requirements
- Able to complete required training, orientation, and road testing
