CDL Welding Supply Driver (HAZMAT)

A leading regional distributor of welding equipment and industrial supplies is seeking a reliable, safety-driven Route Driver to support deliveries throughout the Texarkana area. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on exposure to welding, metal fabrication, or industrial environments who takes pride in safe operations and strong customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver welding equipment, industrial gases, and related supplies to metal fabrication shops and industrial customer sites
• Use working knowledge of welding and metalworking processes to ensure accurate, efficient deliveries
• Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles in full compliance with DOT and company regulations
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and properly use all required PPE and safety equipment
• Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing the company on each delivery
• Accurately complete delivery logs, paperwork, and required documentation
• Follow all safety policies and participate in ongoing safety training

Requirements

• Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) endorsement
• Safe driving history and ability to pass a DOT physical
• Prior experience with welding, metal fabrication, or industrial deliveries preferred
• Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and quality
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
• Solid communication skills and a customer-first mindset
