Job Details:

This position is Full-time on the road, driving 3 - 4 days a week.
Total hours could be between 32 - 40 hours a week.

Driving will include, but not be limited to:

Following all safety regulations & promoting safe practices.
Staggered hours. On days that pickups are needed, the driver could start as early as 3 - 4 a.m.
Keep up with the electronic driving log.
Keep up with routine maintenance on the truck. Set up an appointment to have the truck serviced, scheduled maintenance, etc.
Gather all mileage needed for the state department and quarterly/annual numbers.
Will have occasional local pick-ups/drop-offs.
Reporting any faulty equipment or anything that is wearing out that needs to be replaced (straps, tires, load bars, etc.)

Work Experience:

Experience driving a 53 ft. dry van trailer & conestoga retractable
Knowledge of DOT / FMCSA load securement guidelines
Securing loose material on a flat-bed trailer.
Clean driving record (State of OH).

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current Class A CDL License.

Contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen test, including marijuana testing and on road drivers test.
