What You'll Do
- Train alongside qualified CDL drivers on active residential and/or commercial routes
- Learn safe vehicle operation, inspections and routing procedures
- Gain real-world experience in trash and recycling collection
- Assist with loading materials when needed, including working outside of the truck
- Use tablets and other in-truck technology to support daily operations
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Complete required training and testing to earn your Class B CDL
What We're Looking For
- Active Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) required
- Good driving record
- Ability to work a physically demanding job
- Ability to meet physical requirements of position
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment and random drug screen (including marijuana)
