Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for Delivery driver positions for a company in Newtown, CT.
Drivers are responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver goods to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. Candidates must have clean driving records, a valid driver's CDL-B License and a valid DOT medical card.
Two shifts are available: 2 p.m.-11 p.m. or 1 a.m.-10 a.m. Candidates must have open availability to work weekends.
The salary is $24 an hour.

Job Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles safely to deliver goods to various locations
- Load, unload and secure items in the vehicle for safe transit
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure that timely delivery schedules are met
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
- Ensure accurate delivery documentation, including obtaining customer signatures upon delivery
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Valid DOT medical card
- Experience driving delivery vans and/or box trucks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Warehouse experience
- Able to work flexible schedule and holidays
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
