About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and safety-focused Water Truck Driver to join our growing field operations team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting construction activities by operating water trucks to control dust, maintain safe working conditions, and provide water services across project sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating specialized equipment, and contributing directly to the success of large-scale infrastructure projects while building a long-term career in construction.

What You'll Do
- Safely operate a water truck to control dust and provide water to construction sites, roads, and excavation areas.
- Monitor water levels and ensure timely refills to maintain uninterrupted job site operations.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Report mechanical issues, damage, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to management.
- Follow all traffic laws, company safety policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of water usage, locations serviced, inspections, and vehicle activity.
- Communicate with supervisors and field personnel to adjust water delivery schedules based on project needs.
- Keep vehicles clean, properly maintained, and operational at all times.
- Partner with field crews and project leadership to support efficient jobsite production.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Position Requirements
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience operating water trucks or similar heavy vehicles in a construction environment.
- 2+ years of Water Truck driving/operating experience (or equivalent training + experience)
- Experience on heavy highway, urban, or industrial projects preferred
- Knowledge of routine vehicle inspections, maintenance procedures, and safe operating practices.
- Understanding of construction site safety requirements and OSHA standards.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with field teams.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality performance.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and changing jobsite environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and balance for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work long hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and other construction-related environmental conditions.
Safety Requirements
- Must comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety vest, steel-toe boots, eye protection, and hearing protection.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Work Environment
- Active construction job sites with uneven terrain and changing conditions.
- Frequent interaction with heavy equipment, moving vehicles, and construction personnel.
- Exposure to high noise levels and outdoor environmental conditions.
