PART TIME (WINTER MONTHS) Truck Driver
Under the general direction of the dispatcher and the fleet manager, operates the truck assigned efficiently and safely to deliver the material ordered and the Haynes experience.
CLASS A WITH FLATBED AND MOFFETT EXPERIENCE
Clearly understands and promotes Haynes values to all staff.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities

Critical Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer deliveries, returns, vendor pickups and inter-company assignments.
- Performs outstanding customer service and always provides satisfaction.
- Report to assign branch for dispatching in complete Haynes uniform.
- Pre-trip inspection of tools, equipment, and fluids prior to leaving the yard to ensure safety.
- Evaluation of required transportation documents prior to leaving the yard.
- Review of all orders for delivery prior to leaving the yard to get a clear understanding of all onsite requirements.
- Interface with customers to acquire signatures and payments when necessary and determine onsite location for deliveries.
- Submitting all required paperwork upon completion of the workday.
- Fueling, washing and general maintenance of vehicle.
- Report all accidents and property damage immediately.
- Participate in all required activities, events and meetings when required.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Knowledge of Haynes' products and services
- Knowledge of Haynes' policies and procedures
Required Skills
- CDL- Class A preferred. Must be able to operate triaxle, flatbed and dump trailer.
- Truck-mounted forklift experience preferred.
- Heavy hauling experience a plus.
- Possesses clean driving record and license/medical certification.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks.
- Works well with other team members.
- Must have a sincere and keen sense of customer service and must be kind in your dealings with staff and customers.
