Full Description
We're hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated auto battery account based in Laredo, Texas. Drivers deliver palletized batteries using an electric pallet jack and collect used battery cores on return trips.
Pay:
- $27.50 per hour
- Overtime pay after 40 hours per week
- Average annual earnings: $100,000
- Average weekly earnings: $1,900+
Schedule:
- Home weekly
- Departures typically on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
- Departure day depends on when the load is ready
- Routes mainly run between Laredo, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona
Job Details:
- Dedicated auto battery account
- Regional dry van operation
- Deliver palletized batteries using an electric pallet jack
- Pick up used battery cores on return trips
- Late-model Freightliner trucks
- Liftgate trailers
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- No SAP Drivers
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical card
- Able to work weekends
- Reliable and safety-focused
