Full Description
Final-Mile Grocery Driver | Troutdale & Portland Area | ~$1,500/Week | Home Every Day
Your trailer shows up preloaded, your truck has your name on it, and you're home every night. That's the idea behind this final-mile grocery route out of the Troutdale yard.
Start with how the day works.
Shifts come in days or nights, and some routes start early, before 4:00 a.m. Weekend work and holiday work are part of the schedule, so a flexible calendar helps.
Now the pay. It's hourly, scaling from $25.00 to $28.50 an hour based on your experience.
Most drivers average about $1,500 a week, roughly $78,000 a year.
What you'll need:
- A valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of experience, meaning 6 months of OTR experience within the last 12 months, or 12 months in the past 5 years
- Urine and hair follicle drug screening
Background details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step, so there's nothing to dig up before you apply.
You'll also get medical, vision and dental coverage, paid time off and a 401(k) with company match.
Want an assigned truck, hourly pay and your own bed every night? Apply today.
