Portland Area Driver | $1,400-$1,800/Week | $750 Bonus Every 50 Stops | Home Daily
Short hauls, no driver-assist unloads, and a bonus that hits your check every time you reach 50 deliveries or pickups. That's the setup on this dedicated run out of the Portland and Troutdale area.
The money comes in layers.
You earn $0.65 per mile plus $22 for every stop, which averages out to around $44 per load.
About 90% of loads run under 50 miles, and those pay an extra $40 each.
Add the performance bonus of $750 for every 50 customer deliveries and/or pickups, and most drivers land between $1,400 and $1,800 a week, roughly $72,800 to $93,600 a year.
Here's where you'll be driving. Most of your work is local freight around Portland and Salem, with dedicated customer runs out to Hermiston, Oregon, and Grandview, Washington. Crossing into Washington is part of the job. Loads are a mix of intermodal and local freight: drop and hook, live loads and live unloads, and you'll never be asked to do a driver-assist unload.
- You're home daily, with 34-hour restarts.
- Pick Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, on day or night shifts.
- Weekend work is part of the schedule, and holiday work is optional.

- A valid Class A CDL (Hazmat is a bonus, not a must)
- 6 months of OTR experience after training within the last 12 months, or 12 months in the past 5 years
- Urine and hair follicle drug screening
