Full Description
Local Retail Driver | Southern California | $1,664/Week | $86,528/Year Potential | $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus
Home every night, no-touch freight, and a $1,000 bonus just for starting during the holidays. This local retail job covers the Los Angeles Basin, the Inland Empire, Orange County and San Diego County, with pay that can climb well past the average.
Here's the money. Drivers average about $1,664 a week, which comes to roughly $86,528 a year, and top earners reach $2,150 a week, or $111,800 annually. Your check is built from band mileage pay, stop pay and detention pay, so waiting time doesn't go unpaid. The $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus is on top of all that.
Most days are light on stops, usually one or two, and you'll run about 1,700 miles a week. Loads are multi-stop retail runs coming out of regional distribution centers, and every one is 100% no-touch. You'll drive a day cab on a slip-seat setup, and the trucks stay at the yard, so you'll need your own vehicle to get to work.
Dispatch runs around the clock, and your start time is set after onboarding. You're home daily. During peak season the schedule is six days a week with one day off, so go in knowing the holidays are busy.
What helps you qualify:
- A valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past year
- Okay with a urine and hair follicle drug test
- A personal vehicle for your commute
What comes with the job:
- Dental and vision coverage
- Paid time off
- 401(k) retirement options
If you want home daily and a bonus to start, send in your application and we'll be in touch.
