Regional Driver | West Valley City Area | $1,300-$1,800/Week | Home Weekly
Here's a quick picture of the job: you run regional dry van lanes through the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest, you're back home once a week, and your weekly check grows with how productive you are.
THE PAYCHECK
- Most drivers bring in $1,300 to $1,500 a week, and strong performers hit $1,800 (roughly $67,600 to $78,000 a year at the typical range, my math from the weekly figures)
- Mileage starts at $0.55 per mile
- $15 for every stop
- A 3-month pay guarantee kicks in after your first solo dispatch
- Monthly performance bonuses on top
THE ROAD AHEAD
Regional dry van lanes through Idaho, Utah, Oregon and Washington, mostly on I-5, I-15, I-84 and I-90. Your loads mix drop and hook, live loading and live unloading, so no two days feel identical.
YOUR TIME
Home once a week. Pick from day or night shifts. Weekend work is part of the deal, and now and then you may be asked to run a holiday.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Drivers who already have some miles behind them:
- A valid Class A CDL
- 6 months of OTR driving in the last 12 months, or 12 months total within the past 5 years
- Comfort with urine and hair follicle drug screening
- An active profile in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse
Your background gets reviewed later in the process, the way it would for any other job, so you don't need to dig anything up before applying.
