Full Description
Dry Van Driver | Lordstown Area | ~$1,500/Week | $0.80/Mile | Recent Grads Welcome
Just got your CDL? This one's built for you. Most runs wrap up inside a normal 11 to 14 hour day, the freight is mostly drop and hook, and the per-mile rate starts at a strong $0.80.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING HOME
- Average about $1,500 a week, roughly $78,000 a year, paid weekly
- $0.80 per mile
- $20 for every stop
- $60 extra when a store needs a driver-assist unload
ON THE ROAD
Dedicated dry van runs, mostly drop and hook. Only a few stores need you to help unload, so you spend your time driving, not waiting. You're home weekly with a 34-hour restart, and most runs fit within a standard workday.
YOUR SCHEDULE
- Day and night shifts both available
- Weekend work is part of the job
- Holiday work is expected
GETTING STARTED
- A valid Class A CDL
- At least 120 hours of CDL training
- No driving experience needed
- Urine and hair follicle drug screening
- Background details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step, so there's nothing to dig up before you apply
WHAT COMES WITH IT
Medical, vision and dental coverage, paid time off and a 401(k) with company match.
Want a high mileage rate and a friendly start to your career? Apply today.
