Full Description
We're hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a regional battery transportation operation based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Deliver automotive batteries on multi-stop routes using late-model sleeper trucks, with consistent weekly home time and competitive hourly pay.
Pay
- Average weekly earnings: $1,900
- Average annual earnings: $103,000
- $31.50 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- $25 per qualifying layover in tax-advantaged per diem
- Paid every Friday
- Depart Sunday afternoons
- Typically 2-3 loads per week
- Multi-stop delivery routes
- Consistent weekly home time
- Regional automotive battery deliveries
- Dedicated freight operation
- Late-model automatic Freightliner sleeper cabs
- Driver unload required at each stop
- Use a liftgate and electric pallet jack
- Routes may involve travel across multiple states
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- No SAP Drivers
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical card
- Able to work weekends
- Reliable and safety-focused
