Full Description
Home Time: Home every other weekend (48-hour reset) | Pay: $1,450-$1,850 per week
Freight: No-touch general commodity freight | Location: Auburn, ME 04210
• Regional dry van freight
• No loading or unloading responsibilities
• 2021 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth equipment
• Primarily east of I-35
Regional freight demand and familiar route patterns give CDL-A truck drivers a dependable position with steady mileage opportunities and planned home time. Drivers earn $1,450-$1,850 per week while hauling no-touch freight with a full 48-hour reset every other weekend.
HWY Express is hiring experienced CDL-A truck drivers for this full-time regional position. Established freight lanes and a broad operating network provide consistent opportunities to stay productive throughout the year.
Pay & Home Time
Weekly pay and scheduled resets provide a straightforward setup for drivers.
• $1,450-$1,850 per week with CPM-based pay and weekly direct deposit
• Home every other weekend for a full 48-hour reset
Drivers can maintain productive weeks on the road while having regular home time built into the schedule.
Freight & Routes
Most freight operates east of I-35 with occasional runs throughout all 48 states based on freight needs. Regional lane familiarity combined with broader coverage helps provide steady mileage opportunities as freight demand changes.
• No-touch general commodity freight
• No NYC routes
With loading and unloading handled by the customer, drivers can focus on their assigned runs and time behind the wheel.
Equipment
Operate 2021 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth tractors built for dependable over-the-road operation. Late-model equipment provides a comfortable and reliable setup for regional freight and occasional longer trips.
Benefits and Driver Extras
Medical, dental, and vision coverage is available after 30 days of employment. Drivers also have access to a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 4% company match after 6 months, $300 orientation pay for the 3-day program, and referral bonus opportunities.
Driver Qualifications
• Valid CDL-A license
• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 36 months; regional or local experience qualifies
