This regional operation is designed to maintain consistent freight flow with scheduled home time and reliable weekly routing across dedicated retail lanes.
HWY Express maintains a growing fleet serving major retail locations throughout the Southeast and currently has openings for three qualified CDL-A drivers. Our regional driving operation emphasizes driver retention through competitive pay packages, consistent miles, and genuine respect for work-life balance that professional drivers demand in today's market.
Driver Compensation Details
Weekly earnings range from $1,300 to $1,500 based on our structured pay model designed for consistent income. Base mileage compensation starts at 77 cents per mile, enhanced by $20 stop pay following your first daily delivery. Short-distance runs provide additional earning opportunities with $45 payments for routes under 50 miles and $35 for trips under 150 miles. Complete our Nashville orientation program and earn $1,000 bonus compensation.
Home Time and Route Information
Every weekend brings 34-48 hours of guaranteed home time, ensuring proper rest and family connection. Your assigned territory encompasses Northern Florida, Eastern Georgia, South Carolina, and Southern North Carolina, providing dedicated lanes with predictable scheduling. All deliveries involve no touch freight operations, allowing drivers to concentrate on safe transportation rather than physical handling duties.
Equipment and Maintenance Programs
Our fleet consists exclusively of late-model International LT trucks featuring comfortable 71-inch sleepers, with no equipment exceeding three years of service. Standard amenities include APU systems, power inverters, and designated refrigerator space for driver convenience. Dry van trailers receive comprehensive maintenance through our Penske partnership, including emergency roadside service and rental equipment during unexpected repairs to prevent income interruption.

Employment Requirements and Standards
Candidates must possess current CDL-A licensing with documented six months of recent experience in regional driving, local operations with electronic logging systems, or long-haul transportation.
