Requirements
- Valid CDL-A License with at least 6 months experience
- Ability to handle physical unloading (rollers)
- Comfortable with tight backing and multi-stop routes
- Average Weekly Pay: $2,190 (performance-based)
- Estimated Annual Pay: $113,880
- Daily Pay: $215
- Trailer Pay: $300 per trailer (unload only)
- Paid for 6 days while working 5.5 days/week
- Average Weekly Miles: 900-1,200
- Schedule: 5.5-day work week
- Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset (not guaranteed on weekends)
- Start Times: Typically 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM (most common: 6:00 AM)
- End Time: No later than 6:00 PM
- Truck Type: Sleeper trucks
- Trailer Types: 28 ft pup trailers up to 53 ft dry vans
- Freight: Retail goods
- Loads: Preloaded, multi-stop deliveries
- Unload Type: 100% driver unload using rollers
- Freight Handling: 100% touch freight
- Average 3 trailers per week (~40,000 lbs each)
- Extremely tight backing required (high-skill maneuvering)
- Drivers may haul doubles (if endorsed) and split at drop points
- Deliveries made to multiple store locations
