Position Overview
We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local grocery delivery account based out of Chester, NY. This position offers consistent freight, daily home time, and steady work delivering fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
Requirements
Note:
NYC routes are assigned only after at least 6 months on the account and completion of training with certified NYC trainers. Approximately 20-25% of freight delivers into NYC.

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local grocery delivery account based out of Chester, NY. This position offers consistent freight, daily home time, and steady work delivering fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months of recent Class A tractor-trailer experience
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the terminal
- Home Time: Daily
- Freight Type: Fresh and frozen groceries (reefer trailers)
- Route Type: Multi-stop deliveries (typically 15+ stops per week)
- Schedule:
- Typically 2 loads per day or one longer route
- Drivers may work holidays if scheduled
- Backhauls: Drivers may pick up return product at final stop
- Within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY, including:
- Hudson Valley, NY
- Long Island
- Connecticut
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania (backhaul routes)
- New York City (after training)
Note:

Equipment
- 48', 51', and 53' refrigerated trailers
- Automatic and manual day cab trucks
- Slip-seat operation
- Trucks remain at the terminal
- Uniforms provided and maintained
- Mostly no-touch freight (customers typically unload)
- Occasional use of pallet jack to assist with deliveries
- Maintain professional customer interactions at delivery locations
- Consistent, year-round freight
- Established grocery distribution account
- Daily home time
- Newer equipment (average age ~3 years)
- Experienced and supportive management team
- Additional pay opportunities available (including dock-related pay)
