CDL A Driver - PM Shift- Local, Full-Time, Home Every Night

JA Frate is a well-established transportation and logistics company serving the Chicagoland area through LTL, FTL, warehousing, distribution, and freight brokerage services. We are looking for a dependable CDL Class A Driver who takes pride in safe driving, great service, and being part of a team that keeps freight moving.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 2nd shift with a 2:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. start time. Typical shifts are 9-10 hours. Home every night and no weekends.

*Candidates will train at our Crystal Lake home base terminal for the first week. Paid mileage is provided. *

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer or commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.

• Transport local freight and complete pickups and deliveries professionally.

• Load, unload, and secure freight as needed.

• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records.

• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A license required.

• Minimum of 2 years of CDL A driving experience required.

• Pick-up and delivery experience preferred.

• Must be at least 23 years old.

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred; required within 3 months of hire.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Strong safety mindset and professional communication skills.

• Must meet company driving standards and pass required screenings, including drug screen, DOT physical, Functional Employment Physical, and random drug testing program.
