Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver

Butler Asphalt, located in Dayton, OH is currently accepting resumes / applications for experienced CDL Drivers. Class A CDL with endorsements is preferred.

Butler Asphalt has been paving since 1966 and has a high quality reputation when performing jobs for the state of Ohio, counties, municipalities, military and private sectors. We are approved by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and effectively execute a wide range of job sizes, from small walkways to large multiple acre parking lots.

CDL Drivers Responsibilities:

• Safely haul asphalt, stone, or construction materials

• Keep up to date on state and federal laws / regulations

• Maintain accurate log book

• Keep record of vehicle inspections / safety equipment / placards (if applicable)

CDL Drivers Desired Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience driving a commercial vehicle
• GED or High School Diploma
• Valid Class A CDL (endorsements are a plus)
• Must be willing and able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement with 6 months of hire.
• Current valid DOT medical card
• Clean driving record

CDL Drivers Working Conditions:

• Sitting for long durations
• Could be asked to work various shifts
• Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required
