Description
- Deliver product to required destinations.
- Perform pre-trip inspections.
- Ensure safety of loads.
- Maintain proper documentation.
- Comply with established company fueling procedures.
- Communicate with dispatchers.
- Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness at all times.
- Comply with all DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Class A CDL required.
- 1+ year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, days and holidays
- Promptness, dependability and good communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
- Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
- Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
- Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
- Work around raw, live animal odors.
