Location: Medstar Washington Center

Hourly Rate: $22.50/HR + Part-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Contact for Details) MUST have CDL for 2+ years (minimally) and w/ passenger endorsement + DOT Medical Card

The Spirit of the Position:

The Dispatcher will greet, transmit and check in/out guests' through the shuttle process. In some cases, you also assist with safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations. (This is a driving position). What will I do?

• Greet customers, assist clients with parking services. Be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2+ years with a CDL w/ passenger endorsement
• Class A/B license ONLY
• Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement.
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Strong customer service experience.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat frequently throughout a shift.
