Yard Spotter CDL A

FS Transportation is looking for a skilled yard spotter with current opening on 3rd shift from 11pm - 7am. A CDL A license with a minimum of 18 months previous tractor / trailer experience is required. Spotters are responsible for backing trailers into loading docks safely, ensuring proper locks are secured into place. Spotters hook and unhook trailers from the tractor, pushing, pulling and cranking lever to raise and lower landing gear on semi-trailers. Spotters also complete trailer inspection paperwork to check for defects and confirm safe operating conditions before each trip. FS Transportation, LLC is a collaborative logistics company predominately shipping corrugated linerboard from Five Star Sheets, LLC to box manufacturers throughout the Midwest. FS Transportation runs a fleet of 20 tractors and170+ trailers, with 70-80 trailers shipped daily, 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. We provide minimum lead time, with a dedication to on-time delivery on all our products.
