POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for a reliable Commercial Truck Driver to support our local operations in the Los Angeles area. This role operates Class A tractor-trailers, Class B trucks, and occasionally a forklift, supporting internal transfers and warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Class A and Class B commercial vehicles are safely operated on assigned local routes
  • Follow all company safety policies and DOT requirements
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections (fluids, brakes, fuel, general condition)
  • Report on mechanical or safety issues promptly
  • Load and unload materials using a forklift when needed
  • Assist with preparing and securing loads
  • Verify shipment quantities during loading and receiving
  • Use an RF scanner to record internal transfers when required
  • Support warehouse operations, including light housekeeping of the truck and warehouse
  • Assist with other logistics or warehouse tasks assigned by leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Ability to follow standard procedures and simple instructions
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision ability is required, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and stay focus.
