POSITION SUMMARY
We're looking for a reliable Commercial Truck Driver to support our local operations in the Los Angeles area. This role operates Class A tractor-trailers, Class B trucks, and occasionally a forklift, supporting internal transfers and warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Class A and Class B commercial vehicles are safely operated on assigned local routes
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT requirements
- Perform daily vehicle inspections (fluids, brakes, fuel, general condition)
- Report on mechanical or safety issues promptly
- Load and unload materials using a forklift when needed
- Assist with preparing and securing loads
- Verify shipment quantities during loading and receiving
- Use an RF scanner to record internal transfers when required
- Support warehouse operations, including light housekeeping of the truck and warehouse
- Assist with other logistics or warehouse tasks assigned by leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major responsibility satisfactorily. - Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to follow standard procedures and simple instructions
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision ability is required, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and stay focus.
