Commack, NY | Full-Time | $25/hr. Starting Pay

Looking for more than just another warehouse job? Liberty Moving & Storage is hiring a Warehouseman for our Commercial Department-and we're looking for someone ready to grow into a right-hand role to the department manager.

This is a ground-floor opportunity for the right person to step up, learn the ropes, and eventually help run the show. If you're reliable, organized, and hungry to lead, read on.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work directly with the Commercial Dept. Manager as their go-to right-hand
• Receive shipments, pull skids for delivery, and prep outgoing orders
• Load and unload trucks like a pro
• Operate a reach truck (must be experienced)
• Drive a non-CDL short box truck for inter-warehouse deliveries
• Handle medical and IT equipment with care and accuracy
• Communicate with labor crews about pickups and deliveries
• Keep things running smoothly, organized, and on time

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Every other Saturday (usually half-days or as needed)

What You Bring to the Table:

• Warehouse experience, especially in receiving, staging, and inventory
• Certified or experienced with reach trucks *A MUST!
• Valid driver's license & ability to drive a non-CDL box truck *A MUST!
• Familiarity with medical/IT logistics is a big plus
• Strong communication skills & a no-nonsense work ethic
• Willingness to learn, lead, and grow into a leadership role

Starting Pay: $25/hr. (higher depending on experience) This is not just a job-this is a path to leadership in our Commercial Department.
