CDL A Truck Driver - Local & Regional Routes (Home Most Nights)

About the Role
Lion Energy is expanding our logistics operations and looking for a reliable, safety-focused CDL A Truck Driver to join our growing team. This role combines local deliveries with occasional over-the-road (OTR) routes to our partners and facilities across the U.S. Most nights you'll be home, but you'll also have opportunities to run multi-day routes when needed.
You'll be driving modern, well-maintained equipment and representing one of the fastest-growing companies in the clean energy sector.
What You'll Do
Safely operate a Freightliner Cascadia with 53-ft dry-van trailer
Complete local and regional deliveries (home most nights)
Occasionally run longer OTR routes (typically 2-4 days)
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards
Use ELD for Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams for efficient delivery coordination
Maintain accurate paperwork, logs, and shipment records
Assist with loading/unloading as needed (no-touch freight for most routes)
Handle hazmat freight safely and in compliance with DOT/PHMSA requirements
What We Offer
Competitive annual pay: $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Requirements
Valid CDL Class A
2+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Hazmat endorsement (H) preferred - or willingness to obtain (company assistance available)
Clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years)
Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Professional attitude and commitment to safety
