What are the responsibilities?
- Complete daily trip log via ELD software and submit reports of mileage covered at the end of day.
- Routes: East Coast
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
- Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
- Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
- Serve as an ambassador in every interaction with Locke Supply Co customers.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.
- Comply with all DOT and Locke Supply Co rules and regulations -including all paperwork and documentation.
- Assist in loading and unloading of product.
- Other duties as assigned.

- This position is OTR/Long Haul, typical run is 5 days out and 2 days home (days home are usually consecutive), we additionally work to ensure consistent assignment of trucks units.
What are the requirements?:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Must pass a D.O.T Physical and Drug Test.
- Desire to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Valid CDL license
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a post-offer, physical job duty test through WorkSTEPS.
