Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver (Local Home Daily)
Location: Des Moines, IA
Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Class A Driver based out of our Des Moines BranchWe are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations. Loffredo Fresh Foods believes that our employees are the key to a successful future. We are seeking a Shuttle Driver to primarily support second shift operations. This role's primary responsibility is transporting product between Produce Innovations (PI) and our Des Moines (DSM) location, with occasional pickups and drop-offs from local vendors as needed. This position plays an important role in keeping product moving efficiently between facilities to support production and distribution needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and flexible. We are looking for someone who can also assist with branch-to-branch shuttles and provide coverage as needed.
Pay: $25 - $28 per hour, dependent on experience
Schedule: 2 PM until complete, able to adjust as needed to cover shuttles to branches

What we look for:
- Valid interstate eligible CDL A, 21+ or older
- Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM - 4 AM depending on the route)
- Access to reliable transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving a straight truck
What you'll do:
- SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Transport product between Produce Innovations and the Des Moines facility to support production and warehouse operations
- Complete vendor pickups and drop-offs as needed
- Assist with branch-to-branch shuttle routes and provide coverage when operational needs arise (call-outs, PTO, etc.)
- Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
