Description

As an OTR Truck Driver at Lucas Oil, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely delivery of products and materials- meet appointment times
• Maintain a safe driving record
• Completion of pre & post trip inspections (DVIR) and maintain ELD per FMSCA guidelines
• Ensure that required Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL), medical exams and any other related certifications as a professional driver are kept up to date
• Represent Lucas Oil Products to clients and partners in the industry in a courteous and professional manner
• Report any violations or incidents immediately to Lucas Trucking
• Communicate regularly about service or repairs needed for tractor/trailer
• Complete required trainings and attend driver meetings
• Abide by all Federal and State laws and regulations

Requirements

Required qualifications:

• At least 3 years OTR experience
• Safe driving history with no serious violations/accidents/convictions

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and driving
• Ability to enter and exit tractor cab

Education/Certification/etc required:

• Must have a valid Class A CDL - manual endorsement a plus but not required
