WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a CDL A Licensed Delivery Expert, you'll play a key role in transporting and delivering the products and materials that help bring our customers' projects to life. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of lumber and building materials using company trucks and equipment. This is a local driving position, ensuring you're home every evening.
THE NITTY GRITTY
Safely operate company-owned CDL A trucks to transport building materials to designated locations
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT requirements
Handle, unload, and deliver lumber and related materials efficiently and with care
Secure customer signatures or complete warehouse scans to verify and finalize deliveries
Plan and follow delivery routes to ensure on time arrivals
Maintain clear communication with dispatch throughout the day
Verify that each load matches the corresponding Bistrack purchase documentation
Follow established procedures for reporting missing, damaged, or refused items
Keep accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and documentation
Adhere to all traffic laws and adjust driving to current weather and road conditions
Comply with all ICC and DOT regulations, prioritizing safety at all times
WHAT YOU NEED
Qualifications:
Ability to pass a background and drug test
Cleaning driving record (MVR)
Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
Experience with flatbeds and/or forklifts
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of verified experience driving a tractor-trailer or large commercial vehicle
Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems
Valid CDL Class A license

WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates primarily outdoors and, on the road, with regular exposure to changing weather conditions. This role involves physical activity, including loading and unloading materials.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis position is physically demanding and requires regular use of your arms, hands, legs, and back. Candidates must be able to lift, bend, walk, and stand as needed, including consistently lifting up to 80 lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 5:00PM. Additional Saturday hours may be required during peak season (May through October).
