What You'll Do
- Train new CDL students in backing, maneuvering, road driving, and defensive driving techniques
- Provide real-time coaching with clear, respectful, and constructive feedback
- Demonstrate safe driving habits and professional decision-making every day
- Adapt your teaching style to meet different learning personalities and experience levels
- Evaluate trainee progress and identify areas needing additional coaching
- Partner with fellow instructors to continually improve our training program
- Help develop confident, safety-focused professional drivers
Who We're Looking For
- CDL-A required with solid driving experience
- Excellent safety record and strong commitment to doing things the right way
- Patient, calm, and confident when coaching others
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide variety of personalities
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Someone who enjoys helping others succeed and takes pride in seeing trainees grow

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 years of experience with Class A tractor trailers
- Reefer experience preferred
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No DUIs in the past 5 years
- Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and background check
