Local CDL Class A Driver - Starting at No Less Than $27/Hour
$27/hour minimum starting pay. Home every day. Weekends off. No-touch freight.
Looking for a local CDL job with a schedule you can count on? Maxwood Furniture is hiring an experienced Class A driver based in Charleston for dedicated drayage runs between the Port of Charleston and our Marion distribution facility. This is a full-time company driver role-not an overnight or OTR position.

The Schedule & Pay
- Starting at no less than $27/hour
- Monday-Friday, typically 4:00 AM-12:30 PM
- Home daily, with weekends off
- Dedicated port-to-distribution-center routes
- No-touch freight and drop-and-hook operations
- Driver bonus opportunities for qualified drivers

What You'll Need
- Valid Class A CDL and at least 5 years of Class A driving experience (commercial insurance requirement)
- Valid TWIC card
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Ability to meet DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Reliable, safety-focused driving and on-time performance
- Port or drayage experience preferred; familiarity with the Port of Charleston is a plus
