We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Part-Time CDL A Driver to join our Reconditioning team in Freehold, NJ. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, staging, and delivering company production units as well as customer trucks and trailers locally and regionally.
Mickey Truck Bodies is a premier manufacturer of state-of-the-art bodies and trailers, and specially engineered vehicles sold in over 50 countries around the world. The innovative product line-up is prevalent in industries such as food & beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency & rescue, battery, oil & natural gas, and data storage. The company operates in 4 states with over 400 Mickey employees at these locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CDL A driver looking for flexible, as-needed work while maintaining high safety and professional standards.
Compensation
$26.00 per hour
Bi-Weekly Productivity and Performance Bonus
What You'll Do
Safely deliver trucks and trailers to customer locations
Perform pre-trip inspections (when applicable)
Pull, fuel, and stage units
Maneuver and back units in tight spaces
Identify potential hazards before moving equipment
Navigate highways and local roads efficiently
Read and interpret work orders and stock numbers
Complete documentation accurately and on time
Provide excellent internal and external customer service
Maintain a clean, professional driving record

Qualifications
Valid, unexpired CDL A license (tractor trailer & manual transmission)
Current DOT medical card
Minimum 3 years of driving experience (must meet company driver policy guidelines)
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations manuals, and written instructions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety
Physical Requirements
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and with customers
Frequently climbing in and out of units
Constantly Sitting/Driving for long periods of time
Occasionally lift up to 30lbs.
Occasional walking, standing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, crawling and kneeling.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with exposure to weather, noise, and moving mechanical parts, as well as travel to various customer sites.
