The MRS Driver Advantage
Midwest Refrigerated Services is a full-service 3PL company providing refrigerated logistics services for the food industry. Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting and fulfillment needs. - Home Weekly: Run hard for 5.5 days, then head home for a reliable 1.5 days off with your family.
- 100% No-Touch Freight: Focus on the road. All loads are drop-and-hook or live unloads using lumpers.
- Predictable Hub Runs: Set sail from our Milwaukee area terminal, deliver a multi-stop load (1-7 drops over 1-2 days), hook a backhaul, and head straight back to Wisconsin.
- Professional Equipment: Smoothly and safely operate late-model tractor-trailer combinations.

High-Earning Activity Pay Structure
We don't just pay for hub miles. You get rewarded for every stop, delay, and extra task on your trip sheet:
- Massive Earning Potential: $75,000 to $100,000+ average annual earnings.
- Sliding Scale Mileage Bands: $0.55 to $0.75 per mile (the shorter the run, the higher the mile rate).
- Drop & Pick Pay: $28.00 per stop on all live loads and unloads.
- Hourly Detention Pay: $23.00/hour (starts automatically after 2 hours, paid in 30-minute increments).
- Layover Protection: $240.00/day starting on the third day of any delay.
- Uncapped Bonus Opportunities:
- Up to $5,000 OTR Driver Retention Bonus.
- Quarterly and Annual Safety Bonuses.
- Up to $1,500 per driver referral.
- Consistent Income: Reliable, bi-weekly direct deposit.

Daily Responsibilities
- Safe Delivery: Transport multi-stop freight across the country while representing the company professionally.
- Equipment Management: Hook/unhook trailer combinations, raise/lower landing gear, and operate cargo doors.
- Logistics Tracking: Maintain accurate daily logbooks, vehicle inspection checklists, and trip reports.
- Safety & Compliance: Fully abide by state, federal, and company DOT safety regulations.
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely climb in and out of tractor-trailer cabs.
- Physical capability to bend, twist, and manipulate hands, wrists, and arms to operate truck hardware.
- Resilience to manage OTR variables like changing sleep cycles, weather extremes, and road delays.
- Flexibility with start and finish times to meet customer delivery windows.
Job Prerequisites
- License: Valid Class "A" CDL with 2 years of experience.
- Experience: Satisfactory, verifiable interstate CDL-A commercial driving history or formal training.
- Medical: Current Federal Medical Card and ability to pass Fit for Duty safety standards.
