This laborer position performs street and storm sewer repair and maintenance work, snow and ice control, and maintains the flood control systems. This position is the lower of two street maintenance positions.


Assists laying asphalt overlays and spreading seal coating on streets.


Patches streets, parking lots, and alleys with bituminous material.


Operates all equipment used for snow and ice removal on streets and parking lots.


Minimum qualifications: HS diploma, 1 year of experience, have or be willing to obtain class B CDL (City is willing to provide training to obtain CDL).
