About the Job

The truck driver prepares and performs deliveries as needed.

  • Perform and document pre-trip and DOT inspections of equipment and work area.
  • Perform housekeeping and cleanup work area to maintain cleanliness of assigned and designated area.
  • Perform and document equipment operational inspections, make minor adjustments and repairs, and write Work Requests and Emergency Work Orders as necessary.
  • Work and coordinate with supervisors, crew leads, and other employees to strive for continuous improvements, safety and operational efficiency.
  • Drivers will be required to operate vehicles up to 11 hours a day and work as many as 14 hours a day.
  • The ability to understand and comply with DOT guidelines.
  • Always use PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, full body harness, and steel toed boots).
    Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: At least one year of driving experience required.
  • Licenses: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving a Pneumatic & Liquid Tanker a plus.
  • Experience driving manual transmission preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic logs a plus.
  • Basic reading, writing, and communication skills required.
  • The ability to independently solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
