Yard Jockey - CDL Class A - Night Shift

Additional $2.00 per hour differential pay for night shift. This position requires a CDL class A license. As a Yard Jockey you will be responsible for safe and efficient operating of tractor-trailers to move materials around the warehouse, yard, factory or similar location. You will also be required to stage trailers daily for loading and maintain cleanliness of work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient shuttling of inventories between company facilities
• Movement of trailers between Production, Reprocessing, and Material locations on/off site
• Assist with unloading finished goods, accurate scanning of product and locations as needed
• Perform daily safety and maintenance inspections of equipment prior to operating yard truck or forklift
• Local shuttles - 8 mile round trips. Drop/hook
• Operating equipment with DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Maintain valid yearly DOT physical
• Assist with warehouse functions such as: decorating/labeling product for outbound shipment, picking/pulling items needed for production, and maintain cleanliness of warehouse yard and dock areas.
• Assist with other various warehouse functions

Shift:

• 7:00pm to 7:00am on a 2-2-3 Schedule

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL Required
• 3 years Class A CDL experience preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
