Location: Anywhere from Florida to North Carolina (travel to multiple job sites required)
Position Overview
Nu-Pipe is seeking a Traveling Manhole Rehab Technician (CDL-A Required) to support manhole rehabilitation and infrastructure restoration projects. This is a field-based, traveling role requiring hands-on construction experience, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to work on active job sites across multiple states. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in confined spaces, working with specialized rehabilitation materials, and traveling on a 10 days on / 4 days off schedule.
What You'll Do
Perform manhole rehabilitation using methods such as cementitious lining, epoxy coatings, and spin casting
Assist with surface preparation, cleaning, and material application inside manholes
Operate and support equipment used in manhole rehab and coating systems
Drive and transport equipment and materials to job sites using CDL-A vehicles
Work in confined spaces while following all OSHA and safety regulations
Inspect structures and identify areas requiring repair or reinforcement
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation
Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job progress
Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on time and within scope
Required Qualifications
Experience in manhole rehabilitation, underground utilities, construction, or related field
Valid CDL-A license (required)
Ability to travel frequently (FL to NC and surrounding areas)
Comfort working in confined spaces and physically demanding environments
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate field equipment
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations
Ability to work a 10 days on / 4 days off schedule
