What You'll Do
As a CDL Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping our jobsites supplied and our operations running smoothly. This position combines local driving with warehouse support responsibilities.
Driving & Delivery
- Safely operate company straight trucks and trailers
- Deliver roofing and construction materials to designated jobsites
- Load, unload, and properly secure materials for safe transport
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain vehicle inspection logs
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready vehicle
Warehouse Support
- Pull and stage customer and jobsite orders
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (if certified)
- Maintain organized inventory and warehouse cleanliness
Team Support
- Follow proper safety procedures on jobsites and in the warehouse
- Support team members to ensure efficient daily operations
What We're Looking For
- Class B CDL (Required)
- Class A CDL (Preferred)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
- Knowledge of safe driving and load securement practices
- Understanding of DOT regulations (as applicable)
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous commercial driving or construction experience preferred
- Must meet company insurability standards and maintain proper licensing and endorsements
