Pay: Based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Report any incidents or mechanical issues promptly.
- Secure cargo for transport and ensure proper handling.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods over long distances.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 1 year of OTR driving experience is preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to operate GPS and electronic logging devices (ELDS).
- Ability to have strong time management and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
- Extended periods of driving and time away from home.
- Physical demands include loading/unloading cargo and long hours of sitting.
