Class A CDL Driver

Nielson Construction is hiring for the summer season! We are looking for CDL Drivers to support our Excavation, Concrete, or Construction teams. A valid Class A CDL with the ability to drive a manual vehicle is required for this role. Benefits are completely free, and you still have coverage in the off season. • Operate straight end dumps, side dumps, low boys, and more.
• Transport aggregate, rubble, equipment, or other construction materials to and from jobsites.
• Position the truck to discharge the load as directed on the job site.
• Comply with all traffic rules and DOT regulations.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on all vehicles assigned to you.
• Assist with traffic control as needed.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and standards.
• Perform daily jobsite and equipment cleaning.
• Maintain accurate timecards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A valid driver's license is required.
• A valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must be able to drive a manual vehicle
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
• Ability to work overtime including the occasional night or weekend.
• Some heavy lifting of over 50 pounds is required.

• All CDL Drivers must pass a MVR check and a pre-employment drug test.
