About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Environmental Services Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe collection, handling, and transportation of electronics and household chemicals from residential and commercial locations. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect electronics and household chemicals at designated stops in accordance with service contracts.
- Safely handle and transport various containers, including carts, bags, drums, and cubic yard boxes.
- Load and unload materials into the truck using proper lifting techniques.
- Sort and categorize chemicals and electronic devices accurately and safely.
- Interact with customers in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (Required)
- Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required
- Must pass a physical exam and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, and twist throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Work is performed both inside and outside the truck, in all weather conditions (heat, rain, snow, etc.)
